BEST IN SHOW: RUle of Thirds

I have finished evaluating the first batch of the Rule of Thirds assignments.  There are still a few of you who have not handed in this project, and as such you need to speak to me today after class.  There is no opt-out allowed ;)

Most of the photos demonstrated that we have some real talent in this class, and that everyone has, with a little more practice and focus, the ability to create awesome and thought-provoking exposures.  The "Best of the Best" are showcased in the gallery below (click on the photo to see a larger version).

Generally, we need to all work on our focusing techniques (there is a lot of camera shake...read the article below for some more pointers).  Also, many of the photos seem to have been taken horizontally (probably because it is the easiest way to show rule of thirds).  We need to all push ourselves to think creatively, and try looking at the world, and framing it vertically ;)
