Last night I went out with a friend from the Conference to see the new Adam Sandler movie "Just Go With It". Usually, I spend my entertainment dollars on movies where "things blow up real good", but I have always been an Adam Sandler (and Jennifer Aniston) fan, so as a result, all of his movies make my "must see" list.
We made it to a 10 o'clock showing, and the theatre was packed (even though early reviews for the movie have not been overly kind). Critics do not like Adam Sandler, and I believe often write the reviews without seeing the movie..or at least seeing the movie with a crowd of people. The dynamic in the theatre was amazing, and as my friend remarked on the way out, "it seemed like the movie only lasted for 5 minutes." It is obvious that "Just Go With It" was not produced to win any Academy Awards, but as a movie simply presented with a lot of laughs, two actors (who did have chemistry), and a feel good message, it was EXACTLY how I wanted to spend my Friday night.
