The first day of a semester is always very tiring (hence why at 7:00pm I'm thinking of going nighty-night). There is a lot of excitment in the air as students figure out their new classes and try an assertain whether they are going to truly like the course based on their first few minutes with their teacher.
I am excited to be teaching all my courses in Lab 110, and hope that this approach to digital learning will help give my students the basics necessary to compete and flourish in the new economy. For some, it is going to be a long hard road as they try to improve their much needed digital literacy skills. Tomorrow is our big basketball game versus OSCVI, and if we win we finish the season in first place..something that hasn't happened at GHSS for a while. It sure would be nice if the stands were filled with fans cheering us all on to glorious victory! I am not even going to comment on the outcome of the Super Bowl..and will continue to pout until at least this time next year :)
