I have been asked to post all the chapter questions, as there are more than a few of you that want to work a bit faster than the rest of the class. You can download all the questions here. I have also included a glossary of some of the words in the novel that you might have trouble understanding.

Today you will present your Prezis on how your group forsees the future after a disaster that wipes out 99% of the human race.
We will read chapters 3 and 4 in class, and answer the questions (not the most exciting, but we have some major ground to cover so we can have time to do the "fun stuff" Today is the last day to work on your scene from A MidSummer Night's Dream.
Everybody presents tomorrow, with no exceptions. Make good use of this final period as you add all the finishing touches to your project to make it really "stand out". Double check the rubric and assignment sheet to make sure you have all the necessary components. You should finish up Act IV for homework this weekend. Please fill out the review sheet as you go (we'll take it up on Monday). We will be working very quickly to finish Act V on Monday and Tuesday, with the expectations that your character's FAKEBOOK page is finished by Thursday of next week. We will also find at least one or two work periods for you to develop your play with your partners (please do some pre-planning and gather up any props that you might need).
Today is our "special" event day, with our opportunity to attend both a Slam Poetry competition and a workshop. You are to meet me in Room 110 during Period B, and we'll make our way to the cafetorium together. During our regular class period, we will be meeting outside the Drama room (don't be late!) |
