![]() To help with our understanding of Canada's participation in World War I, you will be watching the movie Passchendale which portrays a fictional account of a soldier, Michael Dunne, and his experiences leading up to and during this battle which has formed a large part of Canadian history. While some of this movie is definitely "Hollywood", it does have some well thought out battle scenes that should give you a good idea of what life was like on the front lines. This worksheet should help you start to organize your learning. The media literacy assignment can be found here (along with the rubric and an exemplar of a Level 4 project). We will discuss this in class and establish a due date.
