With all the soccer and rugby games, we need to stay focused as we move forward together. One of the challenges of a student-athlete is balancing the demands of academics with the time commitments required by athletics (and for some, also a part-time job). I would remind you that the first word in student-athlete is STUDENT, and education should be your primary focus.
Because of a newly scheduled assembly, we will have to move our Speak Easy to Monday May 13th. Please be prepared and ready to go. Double check the rubrics and prepare accordingly. All recipe selections are due to the co-ordinating committee (Ally, April and Morgan) by the end of Friday's class.
Essay Stage One proposals are due Monday morning. The last day to hand them in is Tuesday. Essay writing is a complex skill, and you need to stay on top of each of the stages and meet your dates as required. We will be discussing Stage Three (stage two is a meeting with me about Stage One) in class today.
We will also be looking at the rubric for the WWII presentations and brainstorming possible ways you can make your presentation interactive, entertaining and informative (not necessarily in that order!)

This will be the on-line binder for the CHC2DI class.
