![]() We are going to spend today trying to master a few handy skills that will benefit us for the rest of the course (and high school too!). As discussed in class today, we use the Windows Operating System in the Bluewater Board of Education. It is also, by far, the most used O/S in businesses as well. It would be VERY handy if you knew how to use a few shortcuts to speed up your work. Let's experiment! Use this handout to guide your learning. When you have a complete ( and corrected copy), it would be a great idea to print it and keep it in the front of your binder (at least until you learn them all!) We are also going to start to learn how to type properly. This is a very important skill, as many jobs rely on some sort of data input, and not all of it can come it through texting with your thumbs! :) There is a hot button at the top of the course page that will take you to Typing.com. At the start of most of our classes from now on, you are asked to log in to the website and practice for 10 minutes. You can also access this amazing resource from home. Keep practicing!
