We covered a lot of important material during class on Thursday, and I appreciate your patience and focus. This is the powerpoint that we looked at in class, and you are more than welcome to download it and review it as many times as you find necessary to learn the terminology and basic rules of design. These are the fundamentals that we will use to produce some pretty amazing stuff this year. I have also uploaded this terminology sheet to help you with all the concepts that we have learned so far (and that you are expected to know for next Wednesday's test).
My expectations for the today revolve around you completing the following:
1) The PICA paper cut and paste assignment. Remember, you only paste the dominate element on to your DPS. All other elements are drawn in as boxes (maximum height and width of each element). Neatness is paramount, and I will ask you to start over if this isn't 100% accurate and professional.
2) Tomorrow we will try doing this on the computer. Buckle up..it could be bumpy. lol
1) I need the list of your points emailed to me by the end of today's class. If you are indecisive, please see me before lunch.
2) Work on your Chapman's assignment. I do not think it is unreasonable to expect you to present next Tuesday.
