The Pitch

AWE3MI:
Today we are going to start our first group project.  As we have discussed in class, you will be choosing a company that you believe does a poor job of reaching their target market.  Your job is to work with 1-2 of your classmates to develop a brand new marketing campaign for that company, that includes at least 2 examples of a print ad (and beyond that there are no real limits, other than "keep it appropriate for high school").

We will be brainstorming about brainstorming today, as we watch an episode of "The Pitch" to see how advertising campaigns are developed in the "real world".

After we watch the episode, this handout on the 4 key questions to help frame your advertising campaign is a good place to start.  You will also need this planning sheet and rubric.

AWE4MI:
Please work on the yearbook.  I need to see progress by the middle of this week, or I will have to start removing people from their positions of responsibility.
