The Halloween Challenge was a lot of fun, and some of your designs were fantastic. The pressure caused by designing with a time limit, and only with the materials provided is very comparable to what lies ahead for you with your yearbook pages.
It is getting close to mid-terms, and each and every person in the room owes me projects. Missed deadlines are not acceptable in the "real world", and since this course operates with "real-world" responsibilities and expectations (the yearbook waits for no one), please take the next two days to finish up what you owe me, polish it up, and submit it. I am away on Friday, so my expectation is that this will be a fantastic opportunity for you to catch up. AWE4MI students should be thinking about their portfolios, and those going to pursue the skills and techniques introduced in this course should be building e-portfolios (see me if you are stuck). If possible, those same students should be making their way down to OCAD next weekend for National Portfolio Day. Permission forms for the Ryerson Open House on November 24th are due by next Tuesday. Please make sure that your money and forms are submitted in an orderly and timely manner. This is another fantastic opportunity you are not going to want to miss.
