![]() These photography challenges are open to everyone in the class (AWE3 and AWE4). There are no marks involved, only the right to earn my admiration, a handful of candy, a good example for your portfolio, and if 10 people or more enter, a 1% bonus on your final report card. Complete all 5 challenges (to an acceptable level) between now and the end of the year, and earn a 2% bonus on your report card. This week's challenge is Panning. Due date is May 7th. Panning is the technique in which a moving subject is photographed giving the illusion of immobility, thanks to the natural effect in the background behind the central theme on which we focus. The basic idea behind panning as a technique is that you pan your camera along in time with the moving subject and end up getting a relatively sharp subject but a blurred background. Show me your best panning photo. Color or black and white. I look forward to seeing your submissions! Please post your results on our class TEAM discussion in O365. Be creative & have fun!
