Yesterday, for most, was not a very productive day. Since we are nearing the end of the course (as of today we will have finished the curriculum, and I am sure you're glad I've run out of assignments), we are at a place that should be VERY good for you.
Over the next few days you have time to: 1) Finish up any assignments that you owe me (see me if you don't know which ones). I will not mark last minute half-hearted attempts...just like everything else we don in this course, I expect your best. 2) Work on your portfolio. All the handouts you need are on the Y: drive. 3) Work on some aspects of your Advanced Photography Assignment (the research part, for example, could be done at school). Most of you will, if you plan and work accordingly, will be able to finish the raw photography part of this project this weekend. 4) Volunteer to help work on aspects of the yearbook that you may not be directly responsible for completing...but still have to be done anyways. You'll notice that there is no "sneak on to Facebook" option. Nor are there any Tumblr, Reddit, or text my boy/girl friend under the table options either. Yesterday was embarrassing. We do not work this way. Make today a better day. Repeat tomorrow.
