We are going to cover a lot of important information in class today, and I appreciate your patience and focus.  This is the powerpoint that we are going to be looking at, and you are more than welcome to download it and review it as many times  as you find necessary to learn the terminology and basic rules of design.  These are the fundamentals that we will use to produce some pretty amazing stuff this year.  I have also uploaded this terminology sheet to help you with all the concepts that we have learned so far (and that you are expected to know  for next Wednesday's test).

For those of you still interested in improving and practicing your Photoshop skills (which I highly recommend), you can download a trial version from Adobe.com that will work for 30 days before you either have  to buy it or it cripples itself.  Similarly, there is free software with a lot  of the same functionality as Photoshop, such as GIMP that is readily  available on the internet.  There are also plenty of resources to get you started (the learning curve is a little bit different, but you should catch on quite quickly).

I would like to see at least 50-70 points finished for Tuesday of next week.  If this means homework, then so be it.  See me if you are stuck or have any issues.  Remember..EVERY assignment comes with a PMI self-reflection.

You also need to fill out this Chapman's reflection and email it/hand it in to me before the end of Monday's class so I can complete your evaluation.
