As we climb the large mountain of InDesign competence, you may find yourself hanging on for dear life sometimes. That's okay, InDesign is a difficult program, but a very rewarding one, to learn. We'll get there. Honest. This will be the hardest set of skills you will learn this year...so let's get this obstacle out of the way early on!
If you would like to practice on your own, or are eager to try new things please check out this link. It's a fantastic resource for you!
You can download a trial of Adobe Creative Cloud here (it will only work for a few days...so use your time wisely). I wish I could give you a license for home, but as it currently stands, the School Board is not supporting this (I am in the same boat..lol). If you really would like a copy, Adobe licenses the software by the month to students and teachers for $20US for the entire Adobe CC Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator, Premiere, etc).
You are always welcome in the lab before, during and after school. If you would like to work in here during your spare, touch base with me in the library. I can also make room for you during Business during Period B or during Period C when the lab is empty.
This graphic should be helpful (maybe save it to your phone for handy reference?)
You can really speed yourself up if you learn the keyboard shortcuts too...
