CD Cover Assignment

10/15/2013

We will need to focus extra hard today, as I need to set you up for tomorrow's class as well. Your patience is appreciated.  If you do have questions, make sure you use Today's Meet to ask them.  There are more "instructors" in the room that just myself, and as I have always said we should be learning from each other.

Today, we are going to look at the Creative Elements of Consumer Design, and how they effect product labeling.   I will be leading a guided exploration of the Prezi I posted below, and using Today's Meet to channel our learning.

Before I start, you will need to:

Log in to Today's Meet (now that you are comfortable with the website I will be keeping the transcripts from now on as one assessment of your learning skills and work habits).  For those of you trying to access the site through Twitter, the hashtag is #yrbk.  The site will erase itself tomorrow morning.

Download and print this rubric/checklist.

Download and print this CD Cover planner.

Have your CD case, pencil and ruler available and ready to go.

The CD Cover will be assigned today, and I am expecting that you will not need much more than tomorrow's class to finish it up.  I would like them handed in before the end of next Wednesday's class.
