Look at how negative space, simple font choices, gradients, and neutral swatches play a big roll in helping support the concept of this video.

It looks like its is going to be an amazing weekend to take some photos of the fall colours.  With the afternoon sun being so low in the sky, it is also a great time to experiment with shadows.  Take a look at this website for some inspiring ideas!.

Unfortunate Series of Absences

Unfortunately, responsibilities outside of the classroom have lined up in such away that I will be missing three days of classes in a row (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday).  With the holiday in the middle of that absence, it will seem longer.

I need everyone to stay focused and help each other accomplish everything that needs to get done.  AWE3MI students will need to have their magazine cover finished by Wednesday's class and the AWE4MI students will need to have a total of 80 (or so) points ready for evaluation.  AWE3MI students who run into difficulty with any aspects of the cover recreation are encouraged to approach any of the 4MI students for help (they have done this before).  I will do my best to stay connect to email, and answer any questions that I can.

Thursday's class will be spent making sure everybody is comfortable to move forward for the next three days.  Hopefully, we will also have the time to print off all of your hall passes (please make sure you export them as .jpgs and place them in the hall pass folder on the yearbook drive).
