Wow! We are entering the last few weeks of the course. We have a lot to finish, including your Culminating Assignments. Portfolio interview dates will soon be posted on the back of the door in Room 132 very soon.
The portfolio rubric/checklist is here (for both AWE3 and AWE4) The best in show photo rubric for AWE3MI is here. You will also need a copy of the self-evaluation (please bring this form, completed w/ written support to your interview). Perhaps, this guide will also help you structure your portfolio. There are examples of printed portfolios in the room, and you can also download a copy of Brooke's Level 4 portfolio from a few years ago(in .pdf format..warning for those with slow connections..the file is quite large). When you are looking at the examples, pay particular attention to how well these students reflected on the work that they completed. We have a lot to accomplish today. The AWE3MI interviews are now considered "late", and will need to be worked on during lunch hours/spares. I can also stay after school on Wednesday until 4pm if anyone wants to make use of the time to catch up. I am not evaluating these after next Thursday. We will be starting you last design project on Monday (the packaging do-over). For the sake of time. . We will be talking about your Portfolios today and tomorrow. AWE4MI students need to be prepared to have all of their points finished no later than the last Friday before exams start. When you are not working on them, you need to be polishing up and preparing your portfolio. These are very cool! Feel free to try all of these (except the Vaseline one) with the class cameras. Use your imagination..and look at the world from a different point of view. |
