Please review the following video from our publisher, and make the corrections to your pages as Tim indicates (the bleed issue is a MAJOR problem...)
This is the final stretch for yearbook pages. We need to finish the majority of the book this week (it's going to be stressful). I will be in lunch and after school all week..please make plans to help as much as you can..at the very least LIVE UP TO YOUR REQUIR
You are all expected to put your noses to the grindstone and work hard this period. The deadline is fast approaching, and there is still WAAAAAAAAAAY too much to be done. I am away on a field trip all day, so you are NOT to be any sort of bother for the supply teacher. Zero. Nada. Zip.
My memory is not the greatest first thing in the morning (needs at least an hour for the caffeine to kick into high gear..lol). We need to finish up the presentations (first thing...Lacy/Dom you're up first, Jacob your next ...).
Any one who can stay at lunch this week, and after school on Wednesday to work on the yearbook will be greatly rewarded by the karma-gods (and I might throw in some pizza too!).
Those who didn't present on Friday, need to do so today. Please make sure you have all your materials ready to go, and you hand me a copy of the rubric before you start.
We will be working with IDP4UY students during the last 1/2 of the period to discuss the yearbook pages and the expectations for the rest of the week.
100 points, rubrics, and reflections are due today. There are no "if buts". Today.
Those students who are presenting today need to be ready to go at the start of class. Please make sure you have all your materials, rubrics and presentation "good to go"...maybe it would be a good idea to arrive 5-10 minutes early to set up.
Those that are handing in the Interview assignment, please follow proper work flow and submit a .pdf to me via email, print a copy on the BandW laser, and attach a rubric to it.
I am excited to see your portfolios today..I need to mark approximately 100 points worth of work today.
I'm away at a meeting all day, so expectations are the same as yesterday...full steam ahead, all hands-on-deck, full-out work period. I am thinking of coming in this weekend to work on the yearbook, and if anyone is interested, this would be the perfect time to score some brownie points and/or get caught up on work :) I'll even supply the pizza.
Yearbook pages, projects, and deadlines! Oh my! You need to hustle, and most of you are going to have to spend a few lunches in the lab this week. Report card marks are cut off as of Friday (and don't forget AWE3MI students, one of your two projects is due that day...your choice).
Everybody has projects and yearbook pages to work on today. I would like to meet with all of those students who are interested in help selling ads.
