Another Day..Yet Another Meeting

I am away for another meeting today.  I will return to the classroom tomorrow. My expectation is that you will have Photoshop response from yesterday, as well as your Ransom note ready to hand in.

If you are done all of these assignments, I would like you take the time to start exploring "comic books", and working on possible designs for your yearbook pages.  These are just design elements, and as such, may or may not make it into your final layout.  You could focus on the general layout of the page (how the page flows), cool elements on the page (headlines, interview boxes, "fun facts", etc), or folio (page numbers).  You should save all your ideas in your folder on the Y: drive.

If you finish all of that, it would be good to go to this website and review Masks and Layers for tomorrow's class.

Templates that you will need for the large format yearbook can be downloaded from Scantex by clicking here.  You should be working on several different common layouts using your swatches and font choices.  All the pages in  your our section should look similar and tie back to the theme.

If you need help with the templates, Scantex has posted an on-line tutorial.

Also, I am expecting at least 80 points finished by Monday of next week.  You should also be preparing materials (as you go) for your portfolio (those with weebly accounts, I should be seeing something in the next few days..if you haven't started, get on it!).
