A Promising Start

Congratulations to everyone in the AWE3MI class.  You completed our Adobe Lightroom mini-bootcamp in record time.  We covered 4 days worth of lessons in under 2 periods.   I was particularly impressed by your willingness to help each other through which is a very steep learning curve.  Let's keep this comaradery going throughout the rest of the semester.

Today you are to design, complete and export as high resolution (at least 300dpi) .jpg Student Hallway pass.  Make sure that you leave yourself enough time to print the pass at the end of class.

Tomorrow we will be starting one of your more difficult projects.  As was indicated in class, you will need to bring a magazine cover that has a person as the main element (ie. Hockey News, Sports Illustrated, Flare, etc).  You will also need a ruler and a boatload of patience.

Today, once the AWE3MIs are on task, I would like to work with those in the Photography stream who would like to learn how to use Adobe Lightroom.

Mitchell will be sharing the rough draft of the ladder, and I would like everyone to take a look at it and provide feedback on things that you thing need improvement or if need be, be deleted from the book.
